Our little friend was back today, right on cue. I'm actually warming to the little fella and decided to call him Bernard. I'm particularly pleased to give the window cleaners something to do beyond a cursory wipe with a parched rag.

This Blue Tit (it's a photocomp) has been flying at the windows of the house for days. It flies in a fairly constant pattern from tree to tree to window. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was trying to get in the house. It even did it around the other side of the house. Little sod woke me up this morning, repeatedly tapping and landing and flapping. I though I'd set a camera up and get a few shots. I'll be getting a few shots with the air rifle tomorrow if it continues.

It is now snowing in Doncaster. I tried taking a picture but it's not settlin' and it just looks like heavy rain when I try to catch the flakes in the sky..Trying to muster the energy to go to the jam...it's always hardest starting the journey.

Summer?

Stef's been over for 10 days. Had a night at my place last week which was very pleasant. Friday was his last night so I called round to Rakeshs' too see the lad off. Was a nice crowd and I enjoyed myself. Can't remember too much piss taking but I seem to remember Rakesh getting into referee mode at one point so I must have been having a damn good try ;) Today, I'll be busying myself preparing a quote for some DS work, Hopefully I'll finish enough of it to get across to the jam later on. The weather is great in donny just now, blazing sun and bright blue sky, despite the severe weather warnings across a lot of the UK. I can really feel summer now, it's a relief, I get sad in the winter :(
